Vitrified tile is made using a method patented overseas whereby a mixture of clay, quartz, feldspar, and silica are molded by a hydraulic press. This results in a tile-like product with extremely low porosity. Its extremely low absorption rate of liquids and chemicals makes vitrified tile suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
